Lifemother

My contribution for the oldschool graphics compo at GREP 2011

Made with Graphx2 in windoze and DPaint on amiga (for palette correction and tweaking), using the amiga OCS chipset restrictions. (320*256, 32 colours with 4 bit per RGB element).

The title is a wordplay with the swedish word for uterus, "livmoder" wich consists of the two words "liv", meaning "life" and "moder", meaning "mother".


I might need to mention that this piece is made pixel by pixel, with one of my own half-finished paintings (It's hanging pretty much right above my computer screens) as reference.
I just might photograph it and put it in my scraps, or even finish the damned thing...

MS Pain(t), and similar tools, just can't cut it when it comes to hardcore pixel-pushing.
